Welcome to Thorplands Academy.  I am extremely honoured to have been appointed Principal and am looking forward to working with wonderful children and dedicated staff.

I grew up in the Eastern District and feel privileged to be working back in the heart of the community.

I am passionate about the children here at Thorplands receiving the best possible education and opportunities and, working in collaboration with parents and carers along with support from some of the best teaching staff anything can be achieved!

Our curriculum is filled with experiences to help children learn – these include the Royal Shakespeare Company and our extensive sports provision.
