Do you provide the children’s meals?
We provide healthy snacks every morning and afternoon.
A hot midday meal is provided which is prepared by our nursery cook, we also provide a warm or cold tea for the afternoon children.
All formula milk must be provided by parents for nursery staff to make as appropriate. Please label all containers and bottles.
We will provide bowls, cutlery and bibs.
How can I prepare my child for starting nursery?
All children are unique and the amount of time that a child takes to settle into our Nursery can vary enormously. Therefore, children will be given time to settle in at their own pace, so as to make them feel welcome, safe and confident in a new environment.
We encourage parents to help during this time.
How do I know what my child has done throughout the day?
Each child receives a daily diary which will provide communication between home and nursery.
Children’s online learning journals through the ‘Tapestry’ website provide updates about how children are achieving development milestones and progressing at nursery.
Each child has a designated key person who will be happy to chat with parents on a daily basis.
How much are your nursery fees, and how do we pay?
Please refer to the fees section.
We accept cash, payment by debit card and childcare vouchers paid in advance.
What are your times of opening?
The nursery is open from 8:00 am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday for 50 weeks of the year.
We are closed for bank holidays and during the Christmas period.
For younger children parents need to provide nappies, wipes and creams. All children need a named bag with spare clothes and a named coat.
Will my child have a keyworker?
Each child is allocated a key worker who will be responsible for monitoring the child's progress and keeping records about each child in their care.
Parents can view and contribute to children’s learning journals through ‘Tapestry’. The key worker is also the first point of contact for parents and daily updates can be made to meet the needs of each individual child.
